Το abstract έχει ως ακολούθως:

This article critically examines the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights that relate to cases of enforced disappearance stemming from the Cyprus conflict. In particular, it takes issue with the judgment of Varnava v Turkey, and challenges the Court's reasoning on the application of the six-month rule and its in- terplay with the continuous nature of enforced disappearances. In the final section, the author explores the avenues open to relatives of disappeared persons in the aftermath of the aforementioned judgment.
